Denver Sam Sung Presbyterian Church was established on
April 2, 2000.
We are located in the home of the Rocky Mountains with a mission to serve the Denver metro area.
OUR VISION
First, we hope to be a healthy community.
Second, we hope to be a joyful community.
Third, we hope to be a community dedicated to the mission.
교회 소개
저희 덴버 삼성 장로교회는 미국 록키산 자락에 위치한 콜로라도 덴버 메트로 지역을 복음으로 섬기기 위해 2000년 4월 2일에 첫 예배를 드림으로 설립되었습니다.
교회 설립예배를 드린 이후, 세 번에 걸쳐 미국 교회를 렌트하여 예배를 드려 오다가 성도들의 간절한 기도응답과 교회를 향한 하나님의 긍휼하심을 힘입어, 현재의 교회 건물을 매입하고 2004년 8월 1일에 입당하여 오늘에 이르고 있습니다.
저희 교회는 2005년에 ‘미주 한인 예수교 장로회’ (Korean American Presbyterian Churck) 교단 총회에 가입하였으며, 현재 ‘록키 마운틴 노회’ (Rocky Mountain Presbytery)에 소속되어 있습니다.
OUR CHURCH
Denver Sam Sung Presbyterian Church was established holding its first worship service on April 2. 2000, and is located in the home of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado with a mission to serve the Denver metro area.
After its establishment, the church relocated to rent 3 different American Church facilities over time. With the non-stop prayers of our members and with the strength gained from the compassion of our Lord, the prayer was answered and the church was able to purchase a building in August 1. 2004 and have been serving the community since.
We have been registered with the General Assembly of Korean American Presbyterian Church (K.A.P.C) since 2005, and are currently part of the Rocky Mountain Presbytery.

저희들은 주님의 몸 된 교회인 공동체를 향한 몇 가지 소망을 가지고 있습니다.
첫째, 건강한 공동체이기를 소망합니다.
교회는 외형적인 성장과 부흥보다, 얼마나 건강하게 성장하고 있는가가 더 중요합니다. 건강한 교회의 초석은 강단을 통해 확실한 진리의 말씀이 선포되고, 그 말씀으로 성도들의 삶이 변화 되어, 그 삶을 통해 세상에 하나님의 거룩하심을 드러내고, 크리스찬 다운 삶을 살아내게 하는데 있습니다. 말씀으로 무장되고 훈련된 주님의 제자들이 한 사람 한 사람 세워져 가는 교회이기를 소망합니다.
둘째, 행복한 공동체이기를 소망합니다.
세상 어디에서도 맞볼 수 없는 기쁨과 행복을 교회라는 공동체 안에서 누리게 하고 싶습니다. 성도들이 서로 만나면 이민 생활의 외로움과 버거움으로 지친 마음들이 위로 받고 격려 받으며 세워 주는 공동체, 그래서 ‘교회는 큰 가정이고 가정은 작은 교회’가 되는, 천국의 삶을 미리 연습하고 맞보게 하는 교회이기를 소망합니다.
셋째, 사명에 충실한 공동체이기를 소망합니다.
교회가 이 땅에 세워진 목적은 ‘너희는 가서 제자 삼으라!’ ‘땅 끝까지 이르러 네 증인 되라!’는 우리 주님의 ‘대 위임명령(The Great Commission)’을 수행하는데 있습니다. 그래서 저희 교회는 철저하게 선교 구조적인 교회를 지향합니다. 모든 성도들이 교회 문을 열고 들어서는 순간 하나님을 향한 ‘예배자’이며, 교회 문을 열고 나가는 순간 세상을 향한 ‘선교사’라는 확고한 정체성을 가지고 교회 생활하기를 소망합니다.
OUR VISION
Here is our hope as a community representing the body of Christ, the church.
First, we hope to be a healthy community.
What is important for the church isn't the external growth and numbers in revival, but it is how healthy the internal growth is. Foundation for a healthy church is in the truth of the message, it is in the renewed life through the message, it is in the revealing of the glory of God, and it is in the constant strive to live as a true Christian. We hope to be a church that guides individuals to be armored in the Word.
Second, we hope to be a joyful community.
We want to share the happiness and joy that this world simply cannot provide through the community called church. We hope to be a church that provides a safe haven for those often feeling alone and overwhelmed as immigrants- a place where members can share freely, where we can get a glimpse of heaven through community, so that the 'church becomes family and family becomes church'.
Third, we hope to be a community dedicated to the mission.
The purpose of a church is in fulfilling The Great Commission of our Lord as he states for us to 'make disciples of all nations!' and 'be my witnesses..to the ends of the earth'. Therefore our church strives for a missions oriented structure. Every person walking in through the door is a 'worshiper', every person walking out the door into the world is a 'missionary'- We hope to carry on this absolute identity throughout our church.
